International Friendship Dance Festival Sarajevo

Have you ever sat on your couch, turned on the TV and watched a dancing show and you thought to yourself: ‘how the heck can they do this?’ Of course, this is a silly question because who hasn’t?
I’ve seen dozen of dance shows and I’ve always been left in amazement. Dancing can be drawn back all the way to the 3rd century BC and it’s just been evolving ever since then.

On October 13th, Sarajevo hosted a dance festival. Yes, can you believe it!? The International Friendship Dance Festival was held in our very own capital!

Although it only lasted till the 16th of October, but make you sure you show up to see some talented dancers.

Aside from watching the competitions in Dance, guests also had the opportunity to participate in various workshops and what would a festival be without a party afterwards?

I love bachata and salsa but I’m so stiff when trying to dance, I definitely joined a few workshops, so I got my wiggle on.

So, it doesn’t matter if you’re a dancer or just an amateur, if you love dance then this was definitely the place to be! If you missed it, there’s always next year.
